Thank you Jessica. You always post happy things.

My birthday is in a few weeks just after the Blood Moon. If the good Lord Jesus has not picked us up yet I will be baking myself a birthday cake. /clap hands

I really am in the mood for a Chocolate Cake.
I am going to eat the whole thing, so I better just bake a 6″ round. I guess.

They are both amazing…but this cake recipe gives you a slightly more “cakey” texture and my chocolate mudcake under the recipes tab above gives you more of a brownie texture. I use both…depending on what I’m doing. This would make a better cupcake…the other makes a very rich and dense and stable cake layer. Blessings!

Yes you can! Make sure your layers are real cold when stacking the layers. Have fun!!

Hi Jessica! I am looking out for good chocolate cake recipe. Been trying out recipes but didn’t manage to find one that’s moist, soft and full of chocolate flavor. Is this cake moist, soft and bursting with chocolate flavor?

WOW This cake was awesome just made it and it turned out beautifully. I never had good luck with chocolate cake but this recipe saved me. The cake was not only delicious but the texture was perfect, not too dense yet dense enough if that makes sense. This will be my go to chocolate cake from now on. I made 2 6″ and some cupcakes, I filled it with milk chocolate ganache and it was to die for. I also added some cinnamon to the recipe and by using good quality ingredients as you did, it tasted like a gourmet chocolate cake. So thank you very much for sharing this recipe, I’m looking forward to try the others…

Oh no! I’m not sure what’s going on. I just tried it too. I just left her a message, so hopefully it’ll be fixed but she also might be taking a break for a while. I know she’s super busy. Blessings!

Coffee really helps to enhance the flavor of the chocolate. Can you use decaf?? I would try that first, then switch to milk or even water. Blessings!
