But, alas…HERE it is…the first of three sneak peeks…the first of three cakes I’m going to share with you.

What do you think!?!?? Any guesses on theme? The three cakes are all different, but share a common theme…so, happy guessing!!!

I’ll be posting a few more sneak peek pics this week/coming weekend then next week I’m going to do one more giveaway and share the Title Card with you!!

Happy Birthday to your beautiful girl and the cake is awesome! I am halfway through your first Craftsy class and I am soooo inspired!!! You brought up a point here today I was wondering about… about the cake board being bigger than the cake. I made an 8″ round cake but if I use 8″ cake boards I will only have like 1/8″ of icing, I don’t think that’s enough. Do you trim your cake down on the sides? Or, could I use a 9″ cake board and trim that a bit? What do you do on round cakes?

Yes…if you’re cake is too close to that bottom boards edge then trim the cake a bit so you have a nice 1/4″ thick crumb coat. So glad you’re enjoying the class!!

First of all Happy birthday to your lovely daughter & she is really lucky to have a mother like you. I think your new class will be related to circus theme cakes.
